Business Description
Steve’s
voiceover style ranges from “easy going,” to
'authoritative" without being overbearing. It’s
the product of years of training and experience in radio
and theater. Major
corporations like Ford Motor Company, Porsche, and
Symantec Software rely on Steve to communicate their
message. It’s
because he can convincingly take on the role of product
expert, be it a Porsche service manager, software
technician or CEO, thanks to his background in voice
acting and narration.
In his radio days, he was the go-to guy when a
commercial needed a ‘real person,’ read because of
his ability to do believable dialogue.
That ability with dialogue lead to a number of
Addy Awards over the years.
Today, Steve specializes in narration,
particularly eLearning, web based training projects, and
audiobooks.

Along
with voice work, Steve provides a complete package
including scheduling the studio, editing files, and
delivery of finished audio in the format you specify. He
can even set you up with an FTP site for audio delivery.
The
on-site studio provides clean and crisp professional
quality audio. The recording booth is isolated and
acoustically treated making it quiet and free from
distracting background noise and room echo. In the
control room you’ll find a broadcast quality audio
chain featuring a Great River mic pre, Urei LA-4
compressor (for mild compression) along with gear by
Dramwer, Aphex, and Speck. For the digital recording
interface, the chain feeds a DigiDesign 002 Rack powered
with Protools 7.1. For mastering, we use software tools
from Waves, Bomb Factory, SoundSoap, and Izotope. Sony
Sound Forge and Adobe Audition are also available. As
for microphones, there's an AKG 414, Shure SM7b and a
Charter Oak 538 tube mic.
